Part of what has made Fontaine successful is that we’re the only company that’s equipped to provide our broad range of services on a ship-thru basis for multiple truck manufacturers, their dealers, and end users all over the world.

Fontaine’s philosophy is to provide a turnkey facility right next to the truck assembly plant, giving us a convenient ship through arrangement with the manufacturer. Under this arrangement, we’re able to modify the trucks and return them easily to the manufacturer’s freight system for final delivery.

SHIP THRU arrangements are delivery options offered to customers by OEM truck manufacturers. These agreements allow trucks to be built then diverted to our intermediate manufacturing facility. Fontaine Modification then modifies the chassis to meet customer needs. Upon completion, the chassis is re-inserted into the OEM freight system for delivery to the next or final destination with little or no additional freight or logistics costs. Fontaine modification has ship through agreements in place with 11 truck production facilities in the United states, Mexico and Canada.
