Fontaine Modification offers the Marmon Herrington Low Floor modification on all OEM chassis. This unique offering converts the chassis into a front drive only vehicle using specially designed axles. The axle design eliminates the traditional all wheel drive chatter in the turns providing a very stable pulling effect. The front drive only allows for a stub shaft rear axle design in either single or tandem configurations.

The Cab to axle area of the truck can literally be positioned at any height you desire. There are no drivelines or frame rails to contend with in terms of load height or payload distribution. Access to any body mounted equipment or load is greatly enhanced. In most cases the need for lift gate equipment is eliminated.

This proprietary design has limitless applications including, Mobile Command Centers for Police, Fire and Rescue, P and D applications including soft drink and LPG consumer rental tank delivery as well as trailer module applications as seen above.
