The Fontaine Innovation Model
The Fontaine Innovation Model allows us to respond directly to our customers’ needs and industry changes. Our unmatched design and engineering capabilities, coupled with the quality and consistency of our execution, provide our customers with cost-effective solutions, fast turnaround times and innovative new services.

The first stage, “Input,” centers around listening and data collection. We gather technical information from all available sources and build an internal knowledge base and solid foundation of understanding on which to build.

We then work with our OEM customers and suppliers to create unique and effective engineering solutions in the “Develop” stage. This stage usually culminates with the development of working prototypes to validate the accuracy and function of our custom-engineered solutions and to ensure all modifications meet FMVSS standards and regulations.

Stage three, “Output,” takes these newly validated and developed designs and moves them into a reliable production environment. We develop finalized designs, detailed technical diagrams, step-by-step work instructions, bills of materials and procurement agreements in order to create a manufacturing process that rivals the quality and productivity of an OEM.
