| OEM: Original Equipment Manufacturer. Refers to the truck or truck chassis manufacturer. Examples would include Freightliner, Hino, International, Peterbilt, etc. |
| Ship-Thru: Refers to an efficient and cost-saving operation set up in close proximity to an OEM's production factory that allows completed trucks or incomplete chassis to be drop shipped for body and equipment installation upfits. The completed units are then returned to the OEM distribution system for shipment to the delivering dealer. |
